Shared champagne flights (from $329 per person) are the easiest way to fly — you join a small group of up to 12 passengers. Private flights (from $1,195, up to 6 passengers) reserve the whole basket. When do flights take off?
We fly at sunrise and at sunset, when the air is calmest. Meeting times vary by season — generally about half an hour before sunrise and about two and a half hours before sunset.
How long does the experience last?
Flight time is approximately one hour — sometimes a little longer, depending on winds and landing opportunities. The full experience — briefing, flight, packing the balloon, champagne toast, and chase-vehicle return — runs approximately 3.5 hours.
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?
Your pilot confirms flight status by text and email 2-24 hours before flight time, depending on weather. If weather cancels the flight, we rebook you to your next available date at no charge — we never fly when winds aren't right.
How many people can fly at once?
Shared flights carry up to 12 passengers per flight. Private flights reserve the basket for 2-6 passengers; 5 or 6 private passengers are $2,195. For larger groups and events, tethered rides cycle guests up a few at a time.
